Wind River Reports Second Quarter Revenues of $39.6 Million - Company Financial Information

Wind River Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:WIND), the world leader in embedded development software and services for the post-PC era, reported operating results for the second quarter ended July 31, 1999.

Total revenues for the second quarter were $39.6 million, a 25% increase from revenues of $31.8 million reported in the same period of fiscal 1999. Excluding non-recurring charges incurred in connection with the acquisition of RouterWare and the retirement of the Company's chief executive officer, operating income in the second quarter was $8.0 million compared to $8.3 million for the corresponding period in fiscal year 1999. Excluding non-recurring charges, net income for the second quarter of fiscal year 2000 was $6.0 million, compared to net income of $5.9 million for the second quarter of fiscal year 1999.(Continue Reading)
